Although it looked very menacing, the Tyrannosaurus rex could make very little use of its short arms. These were like two claws that didn't even reach its mouth. At almost seven meters tall and thirteen meters long, the Tyrannosaurus rex wasn't a great hunter, but rather a scavenger that fed on the remains left by other animals. It had more than fifty teeth that measured over fifteen centimetres long, but it didn't use them for chewing, but rather for tearing apart, since it swallowed its food in large pieces. To improve its depth perception when searching for food, the Tyrannosaurus rex's eyes pointed forward so that the fields of vision of both eyes overlapped.
